Welcome to Canada 2025 will give visa to 5 Lakh Every year: New Policy Explained…

The number of immigrants entering Canada is about to sky-rocket. According to the new target, by 2025, Canada will eventually open its doors to 5 lakh immigrants every year. The major reason behind this policy is the large shortage of workers available in the country. After the new immigration policy is brought into effect, it will also be considered that the shortage of labour in the country has been filled up.

This new plan was made known by Immigration Minister Sean Fraser on Tuesday (1 October). The New Approach ultimately focuses on allowing more permanent residents to come with required work skills and experience in the country. Even with the opposition, this plan seems to be buoyantly welcomed by the Conservative Party. “This is indeed a massive increase in economic migration to Canada. Not since such a focus and emphasis upon economic asylum seeker as we’ve seen in this immigration level plan is there such a focus,” Fraser said.

Target to fill 1 million jobs?

If there is to be believed in the reports disseminated by the media, the way would be paved for a very fast increase in the volume of immigrants in the country as soon as the new policy hits the ground. In the year 2023, it is deemed that 4.65 lakh people at least will come to Canada from other countries and will elevate their numbers to 5 lakhs in 2025. Most of the new entrants coming from abroad are considered economic migrants because they are expected to occupy some of the nearly 1 million jobs currently empty across economy sectors.

“Integration of immigration is extremely vital.” Immigration Minister Fraser described: “Now, immigration has meaning and growth in the economy in the midst of one lakh jobs available at the time when they were brought to the country. Therefore, to harness our economic potential fully, we need to embrace immigration,” suggested Fraser, who believed that new workers could allow for the construction of more houses by addressing the tradespeople shortage.

We have resettled the most refugees’

“In the last two years, we resettled more than one-third of all refugees resettled in the world,” he remarked. “And in the past three years, we resettled more refugees than any other country.” Both welcome the other new policy of Canada but oppose Conservative opposition immigration critic Tom Kmik who questioned if the government really measures up to its goal?07:21 PM
